Develop Partnerships

Parterships NatCon

SVA is a network. Networks thrive when information is shared and connections are made. One of our main goals is to connect key service providers to student veterans, thus minimizing some of the noise and clutter that currently exists in the veteran community. Some of our key programmatic partnerships include:

American Corporate Partners

The ACP program pairs student veterans with mentors from major companies and organizations to aid in their professional development. These mentorships help veterans translate their military experience to the civilian workforce, and offer an array of networking opportunities.

Bike America: Student Veterans Ride for Education

Bike America: Student Veterans Ride For Education is a cross-country bike ride to raise awareness and support for Student Veterans of America. You can purchase your own SVA bike jersey here—15% of each sale will be donated to SVA!

Got Your 6 Pledge

Chapters advocate for their institutions to sign the pledge in support of student veterans. This public commitment is a cornerstone for creating a veteran supportive institution.

One Student Veteran

SVA and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are offering a new program called "1 Student Veteran" to provide direct assistance to student veterans who are experiencing problems accessing their GI Bill or other earned benefits provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Peer Advisors for Veteran Education

PAVE is a peer support program that connects incoming student veterans with student veterans already on campus in order to help them navigate college life. Learn more

Student Veteran Success Corps

The SVSC links corporations to student veterans, via the SVA Chapter, for professional development and career opportunities. Members of the SVSC have made a commitment to connect with SVA chapters at their target schools to provide enhanced access to employment opportunities for veterans.

SVA offers financial support to student veterans and dependents through our partnership network. There are currently no available opportunities. However, additional scholarships will be announced throughout the Fall and Spring semesters on this page.
